Tank Projects
GRP Panelled TankA GRP panelled tank was leaking severely from the joints; despite numerous attempts to torque the bolts the leaks could not be stopped Landguard Radar Tower
This Tower is located next to the sea on a nature reserve near Felixstowe Docks. We were called in to undertake an assessment of the condition of the existing coating.
Fuel Forecourt Tank Lining
We were contracted to survey and rectify a failed double skin tank at a major superstore’s fuel station.
Forecourt Tank
A fuel tank had deteriorated to a level where a breach had allowed a significant ingress of water, which was causing damage to vehicle engines upon refuelling.
Water Tank
This project involved lining four large water tanks located in the basement of a well known London building.
Forecourt Underground Fuel Tank
An underground fuel tank was tested and subsequently failed requiring a quick response from us to rectify this problem.
Ferric Sulphate Tank
We were awarded the project of refurbishing four ferric sulphate tanks which had an existing failed lining system installed.
Cooling Tower
We were awarded the contract to refurbish four cooling towers that had corroded internally to such an extent that the bases were leaking.
Fertilizer Tank
We were awarded an extensive refurbishment contract by an international fertilizer manufacturer. The project involved the complete refurbishment of nine large fertilizer storage tanks.
Diesel Tank
The project was to reinforce the base of a tank that had suffered corrosion and to apply a coving and protective coating to the external base of tank to protect from further corrosion.
Waste Water Storage Tank
The waste water tank on this site was in very poor condition. There were numerous holes in the tank causing extensive leakage.
External Coving
A standard problem tanks are prone to is caused by the build up of water that settles at the base of the tank, this of course causes corrosion over a period of time.
Water Tunnel
We were asked to line a vessel for the purpose of testing underwater craft, which was definitely a first for us. It was described as a wind tunnel for submarines, you just replace the wind with water and there you are…. so that’s clear then!
Food Effluent Tank
This 250m² underground effluent tank had suffered serious corrosion due to the high level of glucose, starch and fats.
Water Cooling Tank
This tank had several holes and despite numerous attempts by others the leaks could not be stopped. A two layer GRP lining system was specified as it is strong and durable, but is also flexible enough to move with the tank.
